(TAM Ratings for week 44, 2014)
In the week 44 of TAM TV ratings, All the general entertainment channels (GECs) saw a growth in their viewership. Star Plus and Colors reported huge jump with a pleasant surprise.
Star Plus continues to lead the pack with 655032 GVTs, up from 594,825 GVTs. Colors continued to occupy second position with 456890 GVTs, up from 432,194 GVTs.
At number three is Zee TV which registered a significant growth and noted 404572 GVTs, up from 393,512 GVTs.
Sony Entertainment Television’s (SET) sister channel, Sab, has retained its fourth position on the ratings chart. It saw a significant growth and delivered 306985 GVTs, up from 287,091 GVTs in the previous week.
Life OK at number five with 305165 GVTs, up from 256,529 GVTs. While Sony Entertaiment was also the gainer this week with 285159 GVTs, up from 247,590 GVTs.
Big Magic registered 56061 GVTs, down from 59,042 GVTs. Zindagi grew well with 31302 GVTs, up from 26,614 GVTs and Sony Pal stood at 31405 GVTs, up from 26,215 GVTs.
Sahara One was the only GEC to lose marginal viewership. The channel garnered 10 million GVTs, down from 11 million GVts the trailing week.

Diya Aur Baati Hum continues to rule the Top 10 Telly TRP chart with a huge leap gaining 10,798 TVTs up from 8,819 TVTs. Saathiya Saath ranks number two with 9,301 TVTs, up from 6,895 TVTs. Ye Hai Mohababtein recorded 8908 TVTs, up from 6,732 TVTs.
Zee TV's historic property Jodha Akbar garnered 8,234 GVTs scoring high from 6,667 TVTs, Kumkum Bhagya recorded 7,080 TVTs, up from 6,338 TVTs, and Jamai Raja observed 6,744 TVTs, up from 5,528 TVTs.
Sasural Simar Ka overtook Comedy Nights with Kapil in week 44, It recorded 6447 TVTs, up from 5,695 TVTs. Udann reported 6,021 TVTs, up from 5,002 TVTs, While Comedy Nights with Kapil scored 5,863 TVTs, down from 6,393 TVTs and Balika Vadhu reported 4,818 TVTs, up from 4,426 TVTs.
On the other hand, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has seen a huge rise in the ratings and noted 6,317 TVTs, up from 4,966 TVTs. Balveer and Chidiya Ghar have witnessed a significant growth in the viewership. They recorded 2,300 TVTs, up from 1,934 TVTs and 2,127 TVTs, up from 1,859 TVTs.
Long-lasting crime property - CID that garnered 3,218 TVTs, up from 3,138 TVTs KBC got 3,040 TVTs, up from 2,780 TVTs. Its fiction show Maharana Veer Pratap got 2,835 TVTs, up from 2,322 TVTs.
Television premiere of bollywood movie 'Daawat-E-Ishq' recorded 4,078 TVTs and 2,109 TVTs in two airings on Sony Entertainment Television’s (SET).

ReplyDeleteZee Zindagi is bottom of the chart seems like Indians are NOT intrested in Paki content .First there Singers and actors rejected now their TV shows..
