Low TRP Ratings Results 'Mad In India' to End Before Time

Sunday, 30 March 2014 | 1:55 pm

From dipping TRP Ratings to the news of host Manish Paul quitting the show, nothing seems to be going right for Sunil Grover's show Mad In India. According to the latest report, Mad in India may end even before due time because of low TRP Ratings. "It was commissioned for 28 episodes, but it may wrap up within 13 episodes," says source.

After quitting Comedy Nights With Kapil, Sunil Grover started his show in February changing his role to Chutki. Telly TRP reported earlier about celebrity guests are not interested in appearing on the show.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are the latest name in guest list to avoid the show, they were to appear in an episode, but they pulled out due to certain contractual issues.

"There are different opinions from different people. Some people not saying very encouraging things about our show and some simply love Mad In India. So it all depends from person to person. Every show needs some time to establish itself so give us time. We are improving with each episode and I am quite confident that we will be able to give the entertainment value to the show that is required," said the actor.

About the show ending, Sunil says, "I have no idea. I just do my work, which is to shoot."
