Sunil Grover is all set to return to 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' without Gutthi

Sunil Grover aka Gutthi is all set to return to Comedy Nights With Kapil, a show that made him a household name. However, sources have revealed that he will not be playing the character of Gutthi.

Priti Simoes, producer of the show, has told DNA that talks are on with Sunil Grover but nothing has been finalised yet. She says that she has also been talking with Kapil Sharma to figure out a suitable role for Sunil.

Gutthi was a very popular character on the show but right now with Palak and Dadi taking up the centre stage and becoming big, Gutthi's character won't work. Hence, it does not make sense for Sunil to return in the same role. Since he is very talented, he will get some other prominent role on the show.

Simoes has also refuted rumours that the show is coming to an end. She said it was a misinterpretation and that Kapil had tweeted about taking a break from the shoot, not the show.

Well we are surely looking forward to seeing Sunil back on the show.
