'Mad in India', which started high in news before release has failed to appeal the audience, Star Plus' decision to wrap up the show has not come as a surprise. Fan base of the genre has rated it the poor version of Comedy Nights with Kapil. Even the actors associated with the show is not happy with the way it is heading.
According to source, not only the cast and crew of the show are not keen on being associated with Mad in India but the celebrity guests are also not interested in appearing on the show.
Anonymous actor from the show says, "The makers are probably not getting the required celebrity dates for the show. It seems like the big celebs are not interested in coming on the show. That's the reason, the shoot of the show also gets affected. Hope everything is sorted at the earliest."
Star Plus is coming up with many new shows in the coming months which will result into many shows to go off air.
