Vibhav Roy bags Siddharth Arora's role in Doli Armaanon Ki

Actor Vibhav Roy has bagged his second TV role even before his claim to fame Gustakh Dil ended. The actor will be replacing Siddharth Arora (better known as Ishaan from Doli Armaanon Ki). In February, Siddharth's character was given a break and though he was supposed to come back in a month's time, it did not pan out as he bagged the lead role in Singhasan Battisi.

This, obviously, left him with no time for Doli Armaanon Ki. Now, the makers are planning to bring Ishaan's character back and have therefore decided to opt for a replacement. Vibhav confirmed the news saying, "Unfortunately, Gustakh Dil is coming to an end. But I won't have to wait long as I will soon be seen in Doli Armaanon Ki."

The actor says that he feels quite fortunate that he has bagged a role so soon. "I don't want breaks. I get depressed during breaks. Sitting at home in Mumbai and feeling unemployed is not a great feeling," he added. Vibhav also revealed that he is good friends with Siddharth and he has already told the latter about this development. "He is a dear friend and I am glad he didn't have dates. I spoke to him and said to him, 'Thank you, you didn't have time for Doli...!'" Vibhav added with a laugh.

The Delhi boy is also doing a film titled Redrum, because of which he has been shuttling a lot between Mumbai and Delhi. "I am working in a film titled Redrum. We have been shooting for the film in Safdarjung Enclave. It's a thriller starring Tom Alter, Pakistani actress Saeeda Imtiaz and me. So I shoot for Gustakh Dil from Monday to Thursday and fly to Delhi to shoot the film over the weekends. We will be wrapping the shoot soon and hope for a 2015 release for the film," Vibhav added.
