The first season of the show was pulled off air a few weeks back after Karan Kundra and Ratan Rajput, who were part of the show, were taken ill. According to sources, Meghna will be playing a vampire and her character will have shades of grey. This will be Meghna's second outing on the small screen after Jodha Akbar, where she played a negative character, 'vish kanya'.
The actress confirmed the news and told us, "I watched the first season of Fanaah and I liked the concept of the show. In the second season, I will be seen playing a hot doctor who will have interns working under her. I will start shooting for it soon." Meghna says that the word 'hot' has become synonymous with her image. "Right from her Kaliyon Ka Chaman days to Jodha Akbar, I have always had this word attached to me. Probably, when I will be 70, I will still be called hot," she added with a laugh.
