Chandni Bhagwanani bags a role in a new show 'PS I Hate You'

Amita Ka Amit fame Chandni Bhagwanani, who was last seen in Channel V's Jhalli Anjali Ke Toote Dil Ki Amazing Story has started a new journey. The bubbly actress whose show got wrapped up last week will now be seen in a new show 'PS I Hate You' for the same channel.

Chandni's new show is about the love hate relationship of two sisters. Revealing about her character Chandni says, "I am playing the character of Dimple who is a small town girl from Amritsar. She comes to Delhi to pursue her dream of making a hockey team. She wants to play hockey at international level someday."

In real life, Chandni has never even touched a hockey stick and in the show she will be required to play expert hockey so it must have been quite a tough decision for her to take up the show. Let's find out from the girl herself. "I have never been associated with hockey in any form in real life. So when I was offered this new show, I was very confused and uncertain whether I would be able to portray a hockey player proficiently. I was very nervous, but then I came over my inner doubts, accepted the challenge and decided to work hard to get into the skin of a hockey player. I thought it will additionally be a learning experience and I will be able to learn a new sport as well," says Chandni.

For such a role which has so many specifications to be taken care of, a lot more goes into the preparation just than the acting. Chandni too is putting in too many efforts to get the perfect portrayal. "One of my friends suggested me to watch Chak De India. I had watched it many times earlier but as a fan of Shah Rukh Khan. Now I am watching it for preparing myself to play the role of a hockey player. I am observing each and every part of the movie closely now as I want to learn the nitty-gritties of a hockey player. I am also undergoing heavy training for Hockey so that my onscreen presence does not look fake. I want to keep it really real. I am usually seen practicing playing hockey between the shots these days," quips the actress.
