Nikhil Arya bags a negative role in 'Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai'

Nikhil Arya, who has been missing from the small screen for a while now, will soon be seen in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming TV show, Yeh Dil Sunn Raha Hai. It's a love story set in Bihar, and his character will have shades of grey.

He says, "I had done cameos, one in Uttaran, almost a year back, and I was part of an episodic in Encounter after Tere Liye got over. The reason I was missing in action for a year was that I had to go to my hometown Pune. My dad wasn't keeping well and I had to look after the family business. There were issues that needed my attention. I had left Mumbai for almost a year, but I kept getting offers even when I was in Pune. My work there is over now, so I'm back to Mumbai as acting is my passion."

According to Nikhil, his role in this show is "a zara hatke kind of a role". He says, "I play a stinking rich guy, who is brash and thinks that he owns the town. It was very challenging to get the diction right. We have been shooting for about a week now. Ekta has always given me something different to do, and this role is quite challenging. I think the show is expected to go on air from September 29."
